Greetings! This is an original photograph, taken in Durango, Colorado. This is one of the 3-foot narrow-gauge heritage trains (Engine 482) that takes the daily trek (in the summer) to Silverton (42 miles). This is something I have to do every year; it’s all an-day adventure, and the train chugs its way through the high mountains (and, yep, it’s a coal train, so if you sit out in the cattle car, you may get grit in your teeth, but I wouldn’t have it any other way – all-day smile!).
