Framed poster

from $25.00

Greetings! This is an original photograph, taken at Devil's Tower National Monument (the "tower" is known, and for centuries has been known, to many Native American tribes as "Bear Lodge" -- the only name, out of respect, I would ever call this sacred place! Iconic! The hike around the base of the Lodge is incredible – fantastic views and a great workout (can get hot and can get cold, so the best time I’ve found to hike it – and connect with the spirits of place – is during spring and fall). Beyond incredible.

(The U.S. Park Service should call this very special place what those who have journeyed here for centuries call it! If you care about setting this right, call them and let them know! Or go to the top and contact the U.S. Department of the Interior: https://www.doi.gov/contact-us Renaming it isn't recreating history, it is honoring true history!)
