Greetings! This is an original photograph, taken along the beach south of Eureka, California (near the South Jetty, which is a narrow, four-and-a-half-mile-long strip of sand dunes and marshes that separates Humboldt Bay from the Pacific Ocean.) When I was a student at nearby Humboldt State University, my friends and I would stroll this beach on a regular basis; it was rarely crowded and always full of adventures and great picnics! Sometimes, just finding the perfect place to sit and watch the waves wash in and out is all you need to reset and refresh. If you’re ever in the area, definitely seek out the South Jetty!
