Greetings! This is an original photograph, taken along the coast of northern California, between Trinidad and Crescent City. I lived in this area for over 5 years, but every time I go back for a visit, I see something new (as is always the case for the beauty on our planet – always unique).
If you come off Highway 101 near Klamath Beach, you’ll find this lonely coastal road – which is where I found this beauty reaching out for the horizon. Klamath Beach is on a huge sand spit on the south side of the Klamath River mouth in Del Norte County. A driftwood-covered spit protects the entrance to the river making it safer for boating, fishing, kayaking, and even swimming (if you can handle the cold-water temperature).
